A New Baby Does Not Pause the Bills
Your income stops. Their bills don't. A baby adds years the paycheque still has to be replaced. Get covered while you can still say yes.
Your income stops. Their bills don't. A new baby makes that gap longer. School, childcare, and a parent doing it alone are the bills no coverage leaves behind.
The useful question is not "do we need insurance someday." It is "how many years does this child still depend on a paycheque." Ten years is often too short. Twenty or thirty can match the years until they are grown. The term should be chosen on purpose.
Both parents belong in the plan, including a parent who is home with the baby. Childcare and the ordinary month still cost money if that person is gone. A small policy on a newborn is a different conversation. The urgent one is the adults whose income the baby lives on.
Health can change. Waiting until the next birthday, the next job, or the next house is how families stay uncovered. This is general information, not a recommendation. Send your name, email, and phone, then book the call. An advisor licensed through Greatway Financial writes the coverage with you.
The checklist
- Count the years until your children are independent.
- Cover both parents, including the one at home.
- Match the term to those years, not to a default.
- Do not wait for a later birthday to ask.
- Send your name and book the call this week.
Your family should not pay this gap. Talk to an Advisor, then book the call.
